Amongst the rush of Film Production, we now have also expanded our remit out to Sales, for short film specifically.

2023 saw Toad Abode Productions successfully agree two distribution deals with Swiss distributor Sofy.TV for Wearing The Trousers & Four Walls of Us, both on an international, non-exclusive basis.

Early 2025 will see Toad Abode Productions take on Sales for the recently produced short film Banter, starring Kyle Role (The Devils Hour - Amazon Prime, Those About to Die - Peacock, The Brothers Grimsby - Columbia Pictures) Written by Mel Evans and Directed by Kristjan Knigge.

The film focuses on the topic of men’s mental health as well as the wider scope of it - as one volatile rugby player scared of becoming the full-time carer of his toxic mother, battles injury and a new rival in a desperate last bid to turn professional, yet his biggest battle is the demons within.

Banter was completed in February 2025 and is continuing to attract interest for distribution in different parts of the world. In April 2025 a 2-year deal with Australian Broadcaster SBS was signed for the film with the licence to commence in October 2025. A press-release is to come soon.

Wearing The Trousers also secured another 2-year distribution deal this time for AVOD with ReelShort in the U.S. The deal was completed in May 2025.
